Nov 21: Sails, Tuna and Dinosaur Dorado! |
Alcides from Costa Mar Sportfishing has reported 7 yellowfin and two Dorado on Sunday. Yesterday the Precedent pulled in one Sail, one Amberjack and... are you ready!? A 60lb Dorado! Talk about a catch of a lifetime. Fishing is really good right now for Dorado (Mahi) and will soon be picking up for the super fun sailfishing season. Right around the corner are the days of 25 hook-ups a day! Book your trips now if you want to go... all boats are filling up fast.
I'm fishing Sunday for the first time in months. I can't wait!

Nov 18: Huge Dorado lately... and tons of them! |
Costa Mar Sportfishing has reported a Dorado (Mahi Mahi) bite that is unbelievable as of late. Some boats are reporting schools that only seem to consist of big Bulls. The Precedent recently pulled in ten 40+ pounders in one day! That equals enough fillets to feed everyone on the Pier.
I will be going to Quepos on Friday to check out the bite firsthand. Soon there will be proof in pics of what the Sportfishing in Quepos has been producing.

Please stay tuned as the real reporting will begin sometime in February... because once the fun starts, it will not stop.
