October, Catching Dorado, Getting Ready for High Season |

The Quepos Fishing Report has been on hold for a bit as we have been implementing a ton of changes. The fishing lately has brought a ton of Dorado, mostly being caught around floating logs and debris brought out of the rivers by the rain of rainy season. Also, a lot of the Quepos boats are up the river being worked on before the upcoming high season. This is the time of year that I look at as the calm before the storm. Everyone gets the month of October to do repairs, spend family time and speculate about what is going to happen in the coming months.
At Quepos Fishing Report and Fish Quepos we are excited to say that we have been working very closely with some folks that we know well and trust and have in turn decided to start offering charters with them. So in the next week or so you will begin to see a few boats added to our list both here and at Fish Quepos.com. We will take care of your fishing trips from helping you decide which boat to fish on to helping you choose a restaurant that will perfectly grill your Dorado filet and serve you the coldest Imperial at the end of the day.
We have boats that will fish anywhere from 3 to 8 people and offer a wide range of amenities from enclosed cabins to Air-Conditioning..
So make sure to take a look in the next few weeks as we get everything up and running. And since we are only offering a few boats, dates are filling up fast. So contact me at

as soon as you have your dates figured out and we will begin to work together to fine tune your fishing experience.
Sorry its been so long... I missed you guys.
