There is no way for me to tell you this. Just like I can not tell you if your Sansa flight is going to make it. I think it probably will. I think you will probably catch fish. But...

Fishing is fishing. Fishing is not catching. However, in Quepos it often is catching. You stand a better chance of coming to Quepos and catching a Pacific Sailfish between November and March than any other place in the world. 

Pictured above is Andre, my Tico friend's son. Although he thinks he is a professional fisherman, he is still in his learning years. He has been on the boat with us when we've had some amazing days. The day pictured we caught 5 or six different species and Andre got to see many fish that he had never seen before.

I have been fishing in Quepos and reported back to the docks with a garbage bag full of filets and I have come back with nothing but a sunburn and a buzz. But I can tell you that coming back with photos and meat happens more than showing up with nothing but a grin.
